Golden West Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love your boots, and we’re here to help you get it right.

We gladly accept returns and exchanges on all unworn, unwashed, and unused boots within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in mint condition, with original tags attached, no visible wear (especially on the soles), and returned in their original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.

How to Start a Return or Exchange

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the status and process your refund or ship your exchange within 10–14 business days.

What Qualifies for a Return

To be eligible for a full return or exchange:

  • Boots must be unworn and undamaged 
  • Returned in original packaging with all tags included
  • Tried on indoors (preferably on carpet) to avoid scuffing
  • Received within 30 days of your delivery date
  • Must include proof of purchase

Exclusions & Final Sale Items

Some items can’t be returned or exchanged:

  • Gift cards
  • Items marked final sale or non-returnable 
  • Boots with signs of wear or damage (including scuffed soles)
  • Items purchased through other retailers. Returns must be made directly through them
  • Shipping fees are nonrefundable unless the product was incorrect or damaged.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If you received the wrong item or your boots are defective or damaged, contact us immediately at help@goldenwestboots.com so we can make it right. Please be sure to include photos of the boots to speed up the process.

Gifts

Received Golden West boots as a gift? As long as they meet our return standards, we’re happy to issue store credit or process an exchange.

Fraud & Return Abuse Policy

Golden West reserves the right to deny a return or exchange if the item appears worn, altered, or doesn’t meet our return standards. We may also refuse returns in the case of suspected abuse, fraud, or manipulation.
